Lamar city sales tax revenue increased only a fraction of a percent, 0.28% for April of this year, but saw a 4.82% increase for year-to-date since January.  Total sales and use tax collections for 2011 are $1,355,187.70 compared to $1,292,901.05 for a gain over last year of $62,286.65.
