Clare Dunn Signs with Universal Music Group

Universal Music Group Nashville has signed singer/songwriter/guitarist Clare Dunn. She has opened for Keith Urban, Florida Georgia Line, Dierks Bentley, and Luke Bryan, and this week Dunn will open for Bob Seger.

Dunn, a native of southeast Colorado, grew up working on a farm from a young age. While attending Nashville’s Belmont University, she added acoustic and electric guitar to her musical resume. After graduation, she signed her publishing deal and has since co-written with writers including Hillary Lindsey, Marshall Altman, Terry McBride, Troy Verges and many others. She recently signed with BMG/Chrysalis for publishing representation.

Clare Dunn is native born this area. She is the daughter of R.B. and Tila Dunn of Two Buttes, CO. Her grandparents are the late Roy and Ruth Dunn and Barbara Dunn of Holly, CO and the late Clyde and Clara Adams of Keyes, OK.

She recently signed with BMG/Chrysalis for publishing representation.  Clare moved to Nashville, TN in 2007 to pursue her dream of making music.

She grew up on the family farm, driving silage trucks, combines, eighteen wheelers, sorting cattle, tagging calves, checking calves and spent countless hours behind the wheel of a John Deere tractor, all the while soaking up music on any radio station that could be tuned in. Clapton, George Strait, The Stones, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, and the Eagles created the musical backdrop of her youth as she helped on the family owned farm and ranch.

Clare Dunn provided the headline entertainment for last year’s Lamar Chamber of Commerce, Farm/City Banquet, packing the Lamar Community Building with many devoted fans and relatives from throughout southeast Colorado.

She is working on her debut album.
