Dr. Portner Joins High Plains Community Health Center

Dr. Barry Portner, Board Certified Physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology, will be joining the medical staff of High Plains Community Health Center on a full-time basis starting April 1st. Dr. Portner completed his medical school training at Hahnemann Medical College in Philadelphia and an Internship and Residency at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore. He served in the Air Force before practicing many years as an OB/Gyn physician in the Baltimore area. Dr. Portner has served the people in Southeast Colorado since 2002. He and his wife Susanna have seven children. Interests include playing the piano, traveling, gardening, carpentry and computers.
