CSP Investigates Motorcycle Fatality near Holly

The Colorado State Patrol is investigating a single-vehicle crash that resulted in a single fatality. The crash occurred on Colorado Highway 50, approximately six miles west of Holly Colorado in Prowers County.
A 2006 Harley Davidson was traveling westbound on Colorado Highway 50 when the driver failed to negotiate a curve. The Harley Davidson traveled off the right side of the road colliding with a guardrail and a concrete bridge embankment prior to ejecting the driver.
The driver of the Harley Davidson, a 51 year-old male out of El Mirage, Arizona was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Prowers County Coroner. The driver’s name is being withheld until next of kin have been notified.
Alcohol and drugs are not considered a factor in the crash. However, the crash remains under investigation.
