LCC’s Randy Schaapman to Compete at the National Finals Rodeo

Lamar Community College freshman Randy Schaapman will compete at the College National Finals Rodeo in Casper, WY June 15-21. Randy, who is from Manteca, CA, won bull riding in the Central Rocky Mountain Region this spring. ” Randy joined LCC’s team half-way through the year. He was able to clinch the title while competing in just the spring portion of the season’s rodeos, it was quite an accomplishment,” commented LCC head coach Fred Sherwood. He will ride his first bull on Sunday June 15th.
