Lamar Community College to Adopt New Logo

(Lamar, Colorado; June 11, 2014) Lamar Community College is proud to announce the adoption of a new academic logo this summer. The new logo is replacing the aspen leaf logo and the 75th Anniversary logo. LCC’s Athletic logo, the Runnin’ Lope, will remain the same.

A design firm from Colorado Springs worked with LCC’s Executive Planning Team and Marketing Department to develop the new logo. After much deliberation, focus groups, and careful thought a logo was chosen to represent the College.

LCC’s new logo will be presented to the community on July 10th, at 10:00am in the Bowman Building breezeway. A reception with refreshments will follow at 10:15am in LCC’s Learning Support Services Library. All community members are invited to join the campus for the unveiling.
