Casey Barnes Signs with LCC Rodeo Team

Lamar Community College assistant rodeo coach Cole Dorenkamp (left) watches as Casey Barnes (right) of Maybell, CO signs his letter of intent to rodeo for LCC this fall. Casey, the son of Bruce and Joyce Barnes, is a recent graduate of Moffat County High School and plans to enter LCC’s welding program. “He ropes calves and steers, and steer wrestles, finishing the 2014 season 2nd in the All-Around standings in the Colorado State High School Rodeo Association. He won the steer wrestling in 2013 and finished second this year. He will add depth in the time events and should make an immediate impact on the team.” stated Dorenkamp.
