Registration for the Summer Reading Program will begin at 9:00 am on Tuesday, May 27th at the Lamar Public Library!
Every summer we offer programs and incentives for readers and this year is no exception. Our theme this year is “Fizz, Boom, Read.” Over the years, summer reading programs have grown to include all readers, not just school-age children. Lamar Public library is pleased to announce that they are opening their Summer Reading Program to not only children, but people of all ages including:
Preschool Story Time & Children’s Reading Program:
Fizz, Boom Read!
The Library Lab Rats!
Ages 0-5th Grade
Middle School Summer Reading Program:
The Master Minds Spark a Reaction
6th, 7th, and 8th Grade
High School Summer Reading Program:
The Nerd Herd Spark a Reaction
9-12th Grade
Adult Summer Reading Program:
The Literary Elements
Literacy is the objective of the programs, from birth through adulthood reading is the foundation for learning and building strong communities.
This year’s theme “Fizz, Boom, Read” circles around the world of science and the library will be your laboratory all summer long.
Registration for the Summer Reading Program will begin on Tuesday, May 27th.
