Summer and Fall Registration Open at Lamar Community College

(Lamar, Colorado; April 2, 2014) Summer and Fall registration are now open at Lamar Community College. For the full schedule of courses please visit www.lamarcc.edu.

This summer, LCC is offering a variety of technical certificate courses including: Certified Nurse Aid (classes begin May 6), Emergency Medical Technician – Intermediate (classes begin May 5), Nail Technician, Barber, and Cosmetology (classes begin June 2), and Microsoft Office Suite Master (classes begin June 2). LCC’s popular welding program will also be offering courses for new students and community members who want to learn the basics of welding (classes begin May 5).

A variety of general education courses will be offered for students who are working towards an Associate’s Degree. Graduating High School seniors are encourage to contact LCC to see if they can complete their associate’s degree by the end of summer.

Through Colorado’s 2+2 transfer agreement, students who complete an AA/AS degree with a “C” or better in all courses will be considered a junior with 60 credits. Graduating seniors should contact student services at 719.336.1590 or LCC’s transfer coordinator at 719.336.1536 for more information.
