Library Announces Kid-Friendly Digital Library Experience

Across Colorado Digital Consortium (Overdrive) has a new kid’s/teen website that provides a kid-friendly digital library experience.  Introduce your kids to the Lamar Public Library’s Children/Teen Collection of digital titles today!

Lamar Public Library has expanded its services with a new digital collection website experience just for kids / teens. The main digital library collection now has a separate site to provide a safe and easy browsing experience for kids / teens.

Lamar Public Library recognizes the need to provide a safe environment for kids / teens to browse library materials. Just as the children’s / teen section of the physical library is sectioned off, the same experience is now available on the digital collection. This appealing and user-friendly page contains eBooks, audiobooks, music and video. Browsing can be done by subject, reading level or interest level.

The Kid’s / Teen Collection site filters the overall digital collection to just show Children’s and Young Adult content, which gets kids / teens to the titles they want faster!
