City of Lamar Sales Tax Update

Sales Tax Revenues took a drop of 5.13% for December Sales and Use Tax collected in January.  City Sales Tax was off 3.92% and the combined difference was %.13% for a drop of $18,464 for the same period last year.  Total collections for 2013 were $359,732 compared to last month of $341,268. 

The three year comparison for 12 retail sales categories were mixed, but were all on the same level between 2012 and 2014 for January.
