LCC Hosts Antelope Stampede

The Lamar Community College Rodeo team held the Antelope Stampede October 4-6 at the Prowers County Fairgrounds. LCC freshman Codie Brown won Breakaway Roping and is now 6th in the event in the Central Rocky Mountain Region. Brooke Smith finished 6th in Goat Tying and James Ellet placed 10th in steer wrestling. The team will be in Cheyenne, WY this weekend to complete the fall schedule.
