Fire Department Incident Reports October 18, 2013

At 10:07 am on October 17, 2013, fire personnel were dispatched to a smoke detector activation at 206 East Cedar Street in Lamar.  Upon arrival at the scene, fire personnel found that Taylor Plumbing had been cutting floor with a concrete saw and creating a lot of dust which activated the smoke alarm.  Fire personnel checked the area and found nothing but dust.  A report was taken and all equipment returned to service.
