Public Invited to Statewide Transit Plan Open Houses

STATEWIDE – The Colorado Department of Transportation’s Division of Transit and Rail is in the process of developing its first ever comprehensive Statewide Transit Plan, providing a framework for creating an integrated transit system that meets the mobility needs of Coloradans. Over the next month CDOT will be holding public open houses around the state to present information and gather input on the Statewide Transit Plan.

In addition to the Statewide Transit Plan is the development of Regional Coordinated Transit Plans for the state’s rural areas. These Regional Plans will be integrated into the CDOT Statewide Transit Plan and the Regional Transportation Plans (also underway).

Fourteen meetings will be held through the rural areas of the state. For the meeting/s in your area, please see the attached flyer for dates and locations. PLEASE NOTE: Meetings in the Upper Front Range TPR, South Central TPR and the urban areas will be scheduled at a later date.
