At 6:12 pm on August 26, fire personnel were dispatched to 322 South Main Street in Lamar on report of a fire alarm in an apartment complex.  Upon entrance of the building, fire crew found the fire alarm panel showing that there were two active heads.  One active head was on the ground level while the other was located on the third floor.  Upon investigation, it was found that the building was being painted and that the fire alarm heads were covered by plastic.  Crew stayed until a responsible party arrived on the scene.
