Letter to the Editor

Dear Editor,

We want to take this opportunity to thank Main Street Director, Shawna Hodge, with Lamar Partnership Inc.  for helping us through the Urban Renewal Authority grant process.  With her help we received a grant to equip our building with a required sprinkler system. Shawna went above and beyond her job to go to bat for a new business to open in Lamar. We also want to send a huge thank you to the city council members and City Administrator, Mr. John Sutherland, for approving and awarding us the grant.
