LCC Student Brady Rink Receives High Honors at FFA Convention

(Lamar, Colorado; June 13, 2013) The Colorado Future Farmers of America (FFA) Organization selected Lamar Community College sophomore, Brady Rink, as an Executive Committee Member at their convention in Sterling, June 4-6.
Rink, from Granada, CO, was a member of the Lamar Community College Livestock Judging Team during the 2012-13 academic year. He was also active in Collegiate Farm Bureau and was a member of the student senate. As an incoming freshman Rink was chosen as a presidential scholar and was also awarded a livestock judging scholarship.
“Brady was at the top of our list when we were recruiting. With his leadership skills and academic excellence, he was the type of student and livestock judger we wanted on campus” commented LCC livestock judging team coach John Ogden. “It has been a pleasure watching him mature and become a better stockman and communicator. He has a bright future ahead of him”.
