Prowers County Development, Inc’s Board of Directors announced today, April 30, that Lisa Nolder has tendered her resignation as Executive Director, effective May 31, 2013.  In her resignation missive, Lisa noted that she has accepted a position with another company.  The media release was issued by PCDI board president, Marsha Willhite, Holly Town Administrator.

“We are thankful for Lisa’s exemplary service to PCDI.  For more than four years, the communities of Prowers County have benefitted by her continuous promotion of the county and its residents, both locally and regionally,” said Marsha Willhite, board president.  “Although it was with deep regret that her resignation was accepted by the board, we wish Lisa the very best in the next phase of her career.”

PCDI will continue its strategic focus on business development, retention, and expansion while continuing an overall economic development marketing program designed to increase awareness and services to existing Prowers County businesses.

Willhite added that the board will meet next Tuesday, May 7 to receive information on the executive director’s job description and discuss if any changes are needed and to acquaint new board members with the parameters of the position.  Willhite said the best means of advertising for a replacement will also be discussed including how the office will be staffed after Nolder’s departure and who will be responsible for any ongoing business negotiations for PCDI.
