Local Gymnast Wins All-Around Title

Rebecca Henderson of Lamar competed at the USAG sanctioned Peak Gymnastics Meet in Highlands Ranch on April 19th. She competed as part of the Optionals 6 team for Nogares Gymnastics Academy in Pueblo. Her all-around score of 36.85 was a personal best and placed her at the top of the Senior B age division. Henderson’s scores were Vault – 9.05 (4th Place), Bars – 9.05 (1st Place), Beam – 9.25 (3rd Place), Floor – 9.5 (3rd Place), and All-Around – 36.86 (1st Place). The Optionals 6 team from Nogares placed third.
