3rd Annual Community Wellness EXPO Returns

(Lamar, CO) The region’s most affordable health fair returns with the 3rd Annual Community Wellness Expo on April 16th & 17th. The Community Wellness Expo is sponsored by High Plains Community Health Center, Frontier Bank and the Lamar Parks and Recreation Department. A $30 fasting blood work panel includes: Lipids (cholesterol); A1C (diabetes); CBC (infection & anemia); TSH (thyroid); Uric Acid (gout); LDH & CPK (heart enzymes); Po4 (bone health); and, CMP (kidney, liver function, glucose, and electrolytes). The PSA (prostate) test is also available for an additional $11.

The Community Wellness Expo will be held at the Lamar Community Building, 610 S. 6th Street, from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. each day. There will be over 40 stations of area organizations providing information on how to improve you and your family’s overall health. Many of the participating organizations will have give-a-ways and drawings at their stations, including a drawing for a Weslo Treadmill courtesy of Frontier Bank.
