This Week at the Lamar Public Library

After being closed a week for remodeling purposes, the Lamar Public Library is now OPEN!  Stop in and check out the new additions while you check out a library book! The library hours are Monday – Thursday 9:00 am – 7:00 pm, Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, and Saturday 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.

March 28th at 7:00pm – HAPPY BOOKERS
The book this month is: ATONEMENT CHILD by Francine Rivers.
As libraries rely more and more on sophisticated technology, book clubs give members a sense of community with a human touch.

MARCH 28th at 7:00pm – MOVIE MADNESS/HITCHCOCK HYSTERIA
We will be featuring MARNIE, a psychological thriller directed by Alfred Hitchcock. The Lamar Public Library will be featuring Alfred Hitchcock movies in March, April and May. Children under the age of 14 MUST be accompanied by an adult.

FRIDAY STORY HOUR
Every Friday at 10:00 am. 0 – 6th grade ages are welcome!

One-on-One Basic Computer Tutoring
The library offers basic computer tutoring!  Set up an appointment with Kristin by calling 336-4632. Tutoring days are: Mondays and Thursdays.  We also offer tutoring on the 3rd Saturday of the month.
