Pre-Natal Care Now Available at High Plains

High Plains Community Health Center is now accepting patients for pre-natal care in partnership with Prowers Medical Group. High Plain’s providers will see low risk expecting mothers until the thirty-second week of their pregnancy and then transfer them to Dr. Portner at Prowers Medical Group for the completion of their pre-natal care and delivery. Dr. Wayne Hudson, High Plains Medical Director notes “We have previously needed to refer patients for their pre-natal care when we found out they were pregnant. We are very pleased to now offer the option of patients being able to stay with their trusted provider at High Plains through most of their pregnancy.”
