Letter to the Editor: Wendy Buxton-Andrade

Wendy Buxton-Andrade is ready to work full time to make Prowers County stronger and position the county and it’s communities for future economic growth and stability.

“To accomplish these goals, we must offer farmers and businesses incentives to grow and expand; “To provide an affordable tax base along with reducing and/or eliminating crippling rules and regulations,” Buxton-Andrade has said.

Buxton-Andrade has a passion for Prowers County and is already actively working with local organizations to ensure they continue to grow and provide the services that are deeply needed in the county. Making meetings to give Prowers County a much needed voice. She has met with Jerry Sonnenberg, Colorado House District 65 and Chairman of the Colorado House Agriculture, Livestock and Natural Resources Committee. After their meeting, Rep. Sonnenberg tweeted, “Just met with Wendy Buxton-Andrade, candidate for Prowers County Commissioner, what a sharp lady, she would make a great commissioner.”

“I see the growth potential that is here and right in front of us. Prowers County has hard working people that are dedicated to their families and to the land,” states Buxton-Andrade, “I have a degree in Marketing and have 25 years of experience in business development and will work full time as County Commissioner to ensure our growth potential is reached!”
