Big Timbers History Corner #8 – Lamar, CO, The Land of Milk and Money
KL | Jun 24, 2012 | Comments 0
I sure wish I knew the story behind this item loaned to the Big Timbers collection by Thomas Nidey. We think perhaps it was a reference to the old condensed milk factory, possibly displayed on their trucks? Still funny after all these years.
Speaking of money, Big Timbers Museum doesn’t ask for much. Admission is only $3 for individuals; $5 lets you bring the whole family for a fun learning experience that also helps preserve our Prowers County heritage for future generations. Open 10 am to 5 pm Tues-Sat. Call 336-2472 for more details.
