Credit Union Foundation Names New Scholarship Recipient

Jace Nordyke

HOLLY, Colo. (June 6, 2012) – The Credit Union Foundation of Colorado and Wyoming named a new recipient for their Brayman-Beach College Scholarship. This scholarship is awarded to credit union members who are pursuing an undergraduate degree in business and is a unique opportunity to celebrate their commitment to our community by investing in our youth and, in turn, the future of the credit union movement. One $5,000 scholarship is awarded annually and selection of the recipient is the sole discretion of the Board of Directors of the Credit Union Foundation of Colorado and Wyoming.

This year’s recipient, Jace William Nordyke, of Holly, Colo., is currently a member of Fellowship Credit Union. He has served as both student body president and Future Farmers of America chapter president at Holly High School. Jace plans to attend Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kansas this fall.

Founded in 1982, the Credit Union Foundation of Colorado and Wyoming has disbursed more than $900,000 to various programs in our community and is dependent on the generosity of credit unions, businesses, individuals and volunteers.
