Jim Fairchild Announces Resignation
Lamar, CO – Jim Fairchild, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Prowers Medical Center has announced his resignation from the hospital effective May 23, 2012.
Jim’s many years of experience as a hospital CEO and his familiarity with small, rural communities will be greatly missed. It will be difficult to fill his healthcare vision and leadership role for the facility.
Jim has always demonstrated a “can do” attitude and a willingness to address the many healthcare challenges that present themselves. His ongoing commitment to provide quality healthcare services to Lamar and the surrounding communities has always been greatly appreciated.
Quorum Health Resources and the Prowers Medical Center Board of Directors will begin the search process to fill the CEO position as soon as possible.
The Healthcare Team at Prowers Medical Center wishes Jim and his wife, Janet well as they begin their transition to pursue other endeavors.
