Prowers GOP Caucus set for Tuesday, March 1st

The Colorado Republicans will hold their Precinct Caucus meetings on March 1, 2016 starting at 7:00 p.m.

The Prowers County Republicans will be holding their Precinct Caucus in two locations.

Precincts 2 (two) and 13 (thirteen), the two most eastern Precincts, will be holding their Caucus at the Holly City Complex.

All other Precincts will meet at Lamar Community College in the Wellness Center Gymnasium.

Meetings will start promptly at 7:00 p.m. All attendees must be checked in prior to start time.

The cutoff date for registering to participate in the Caucus was January 4. The lists that are used to check in show only Republicans who registered prior to the cutoff date.

The purpose of the Precinct Caucus is to elect new Precinct Committee people for the next two years, to elect Caucus attendees to attend the Republican County Assembly to nominate candidates for Prowers County Commissioner’s in District 1 and District 3, and to nominate designees to the Colorado Republican Convention.
