My name is Tom Grasmick and I am pleased to announce my intent to run for Prowers County Commissioner in District 1. As a lifelong resident of Prowers County, I have the desire and drive to represent the people of this great county and do my part to continue to make this a wonderful place to live. I have gained valuable business experience through our family owned business that called Prowers County home for over 60 years. I have also gained valuable experience by serving multiple terms as a member of the Granada Town Board, Mayor of the Town of Granada and a member of the Granada School Board.
As County Commissioner I will work tirelessly to represent the needs of the constituency and to help Prowers County grow. I have a strong desire to bring new businesses and employment opportunities to our county through working with economic development that has already been established, as well as bringing new ideas to the discussion. I will work to keep the budget balanced while still continuing to provide all the needed services that the residents of Prowers County need and want.
I look forward to bringing fresh, new ideas to the Prowers County Board of County Commissioners. I am confident in my experience and in my abilities to fulfill the expectations of representing the people of Prowers County.
Sincerely,
Thomas A. Grasmick
