Loran Brundage…July 28, 1939 – December 17, 2015

Private Graveside Services for long time Las Animas, Colorado resident, Loran Brundage will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at the Bent/Las Animas Cemetery.

Loran Walter Brundage was born on July 28, 1939 in Grand Island, Nebraska to George and Gladys (Urwiller) Brundage. He passed away on December 17, 2015 at Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center in La Junta, Colorado at the age of 76.

Loran was an avid antique collector. He would rarely pass up the opportunity to attend an auction or yard sale. He was a collector of arrowheads and enjoyed gardening. Loran worked at Bents Fort Book Store after retiring from his many years of working for Big R. He was a member of the Methodist Church, and served on the Light and Power Board and the Chamber Board.

Loran is survived by his wife, Linda of Las Animas, CO; children, Lynn Brundage of Vancouver, WA, Lane (Ruth) Brundage of Las Animas, CO, and Lance (Mary) Brundage of La Junta, CO; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sisters, Lenora (Wilbur) Schuetz of North Bend, NE and Gertrude Hanousek of Kearney, NE; many other relatives and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Gladys Brundage.
