Cynthia Rodriquez…August 19, 1960 – November 25, 2015

A Memorial Mass for Cynthia Danette Rodriquez will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Las Animas, Colorado. Father Raymond Grimes will officiate. A rosary/scripture service will be held at 9:30 a.m. also at the church. Inurnment will take place at a later date.

Cynthia, known to most as “Cindy”, Rodriquez, was born on August 19, 1960 in Las Animas, Colorado to Daniel and Victoria (Duran) Rodriquez and passed away on November, 25, 2015 in Las Animas, Colorado with her family and loved ones by her side.

Cindy worked in the food service industry where she put to use her love of cooking. Cindy was a social butterfly, and spent much of her free time enjoying the company of her many friends, especially that of her life-long friend Jo Garcia, and her bingo partner Bonnie Martinez. Cindy enjoyed fishing, playing Bingo, watching horror films and reading horror novels, most notably Stephen King’s writings. She loved her precious time with her beloved family and friends.

Cindy is survived by her significant other, Dee Bewley; son, Steve Rodriquez; daughter, Brianna Rodriquez; brothers, Dave (Sharron) Rodriquez, Doug (Trudy) Rodriquez, and Danny (Jodi) Rodriquez; sister, Linda (Jay) Zamora; grandchildren, Makayla Rodriquez, Michael Rodriquez, and Evan Maes; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Victoria (Duran) Rodriquez; and ex-husband, Steve Foster.
