Christmas Craft Extravaganza

Southeast Area—Colorado State University Prowers County Extension is hosting the first annual Christmas Craft Extravaganza Friday, December 11 at the Sand & Sage Fairgrounds in Lamar, Colo. Extension has partnered with Prowers County 4-H members to offer a Christmas gift making opportunity for third through seventh graders. Prowers County 4-H members will help lead gift making workshops where youth will be able to make snow globes, ornaments, and more for their family and friends. All gifts made will go home with the participants.
Registration is $5 and is due to the Prowers County Extension office by December 10. Late registration is $10 on December 11. This craft extravaganza will is available to the first 25 paid participants. This activity is open to any youth in the surrounding areas; 4-H membership is not required. Extravaganza will begin at 8:45 a.m. and conclude at 12:30 p.m., lunch is included. For information please contact the Prowers County Extension office, (719) 336-7734.
