Graveside services for former Holly, Colorado resident Helen Pollart will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Holly Cemetery in Holly, CO. with Deacon Allan Medina officiating.
Helen Virginia Pollart was born July 28, 1931 in Lyons, KS. to Harry and Anna (Wiens) Chase. She passed away on September 20, 2015 at her home at the age of 84, as a survivor of recurring breast cancer for 34 years.
Helen attended Colorado Women’s College in Denver and received her BS from the University of Missouri St. Louis. Helen taught high school business for 14 years. Helen was an accomplished pianist, having learned to play by ear when she was four years old. She also enjoyed travel, bridge, tennis, and reading.
Helen is survived by her husband of 63 years, Kenneth Pollart; daughter, Kay (Don) Nelson of Kansas, City, KS; her sons, Stephen (Leslie) Pollart of Pompano Beach, FL, Thomas Pollart of Kansas City, KS, Timothy Pollart of Lake Forest, CA; son-in-law, James Belt of St. Louis, MO; and by six grandchildren.
Helen is preceded in death by her sisters, Harriet Lance and Mary Jane Singleton; and her daughter, Deborah Belt.
