The 12th Annual Fantasy Tree fundraising event will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2015, at 6:00 p.m., at the Lamar Elks Lodge, 28157 US Hwy 287, in Lamar.

All the Right Moves with Auction Items

The Fantasy Tree auction is a fundraising event to support program needs of the Domestic Safety Resource Center (DSRC). Since their inception in 1986, the Domestic Safety Resource Center has provided domestic violence support and resources to families and individuals living in Baca, Cheyenne, Kiowa and Prowers Counties.

Snowman Tree

The public, of all ages, is invited to attend a fun filled evening at the Fantasy Tree even and auction.  The evening will begin with a social hour, featuring live music, special holiday entertainment by the senior dancers from All the Right Moves Dance Studio, hors d’oeuvres and viewing of auction items, moving into the traditional live auction of beautifully decorated Christmas trees, wreaths and various items generously donated by area businesses and individuals.  Santa Claus will be in attendance to greet guests and have photographs taken.  The evening will conclude with a holiday dance with live music provided by the magnificent Jeffrey Alan Band.

Anyone wishing to make a donation please contact one of the Fantasy Tree Committee members.  They request that all donations be brought to the Elks Lodge on Friday, November 20th – trees may be decorated at the Elks on Friday afternoon and evening.  If you have any questions, please contact any committee member.  The Fantasy Tree Fundraising Committee leadership team includes:  Lisa Thomas (688-6107), Lori Morlan (688-2740), Valerie Baldwin, Holly Burton, Sherry Walls, Lynette Rosetta, Darla Klotz, Toni McPherson, and Diane Pool.
