A celebration of life funeral service for longtime Hartman resident, Maria E. Foreshee, will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday October 1, 2015 at the First Church of the Nazarene in Holly. Pastor Eugene Birt will officiate the service and burial will follow in the Hartman Cemetery in Hartman, Colorado.
Visitation for Maria will be held from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday September 30, 2015 at the Peacock Family Chapel in Lamar.
Maria was born on February 4, 1943 in Oakland, CA to Beryl Foreshee and Doris Jean (Waller) Foreshee and departed this life on Friday September 25, 2015 at Prowers Medical Center of Lamar at the age of 72.
Maria was preceded in death by her father, and by two siblings – Debbie Foreshee and William Foreshee.
She is survived by her children – Johnny Shawn Herrin of Hartman; Timmy (Marie) Borunda of Lamar; and O’Neill (Gabby) Wolf of La Junta; Daniel Eugene Wolf of La Junta; Keith (Christie) Foreshee of Tampa, FL; Deanna (Christopher) Borunda-Lucero of Berthod, CO; Mario (Nova) Borunda of Mead, CO and Michele Lynn (Adam) Lambing of Berthod, CO, sixteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and her mother, Doris Forshee of Lamar. She is also survived by her siblings, Richard Foreshee; Roger (Vickie) Foreshee; Robert Foreshee; Keith Foreshee all of Granite City, IL; Sheila (Jim) Cunningham of Pueblo West, CO; Carol Ann Matteson; Martha Jane Stewart and Cheryl Voloski all of Granite City, IL as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and many friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Second Chance Animal Shelter either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
