LCC Representative Susan Frankel, Macias, Sather and County Commissioner Henry Schnabel

The Lamar branch of the Colorado Workforce Center provided their annual open house and customer appreciation day for area residents this past Friday, September 25 from 7:30am at the office at 405 East Olive Street.

Manager Elva Macias and Kyla Sather hosted various groups and individuals who dropped by to wish them well, register for prizes or learn more about the Center’s capabilities for job seekers and business owners.

Macias described some of the Center’s services, “We have all the local job listings at the office and at our online website, as well as career assessments, help for veterans in seeking a job or education, services for employers and programs to aid our area youth in finding a job or determining a career.”
