Dennis D. Sexson…June 5, 1957 – August 3, 2015

A celebration of life memorial service for longtime Bent County resident, Dennis D. Sexson, will be held at 11:00 AM Friday August 7, 2015 at the Riverside Cemetery in Lamar with Bon May officiating.

Per Dennis’ request, cremation has taken place and there will be no public visitation.

Dennis D. Sexson was born on June 5, 1957 in St. Francis, Kansas to Dale R. Sexson and Vesta Irene Browning-Sexson and departed this life on Monday August 3, 2015 at the Washington County Nursing Home in Akron, Colorado at the age of 58.

Dennis was preceded in death by his father.

Dennis D. Sexson is survived by two children – Bo (Kori) Sexson of Kersey, CO; and Blaine (Jenifer) Sexson of Syracuse, KS; by four grandchildren; by Julie Appel-Milligan of Perry, OK whom he loved like a daughter; by a special friend – Tina Kramer of Pueblo; by his mother – Vesta Sexson of Ft. Morgan, CO; by two siblings – Danny Sexson of Texas and Treena (Randy) Bone of Otis, CO; as well as by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many friends.

Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Hasty Daze Scholarship Fund either direct or through the funeral home office.
