Roman to Compete at College National Finals Rodeo

(Lamar, Colorado; June 10, 2015) Melanie Roman from Lamar Community College will compete in barrel racing at the upcoming College National Finals Rodeo. The Finals will take place June 14-20 in Casper, Wyoming.

Roman is from Golden, Colorado, and is a freshman at LCC. She finished the regular season in 2nd place in the Central Rocky Mountain Region. The finals pit the top three contestants from eleven regions against each other to compete for national championships. Melanie enters the finals ranked 11th in the final national standing for the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association.
