Ramon Geronimo Muniz…August 4, 1962 – May 30, 2015

Funeral services for Ramon Muniz will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 5, 2015 at Horber Funeral Chapel in Las Animas, Colorado with Diane Hutson officiating. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. prior to the service. 

Ramon Geronimo Muniz was born on August 4, 1962 in Las Animas, Colorado to Raymond Muniz and Evangeline Lucero Jimenez. Ramon passed away on May 30, 2015 at Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo, Colorado at the age of 52.  

Ramon had many interests, including carpentry and landscaping. He loved having company over; he especially loved being around children. Ramon enjoyed eating, more specifically eggs cooked in any form. He loved to watch television and take his dog “Pancho” out on his scooter. Ramon was a member of the Catholic Church. 

Ramon is survived by his mother, Evangeline Jimenez and husband Ruben, father, Raymond Muniz and wife, Rose; sisters, Debbie Muniz and husband, Jesus Lopez, Mary (Alex) Licon, and Rosabelle Muniz; brothers, David Muniz and friend, Elosia, and Richard (Robin) Muniz; numerous other brothers, sisters, and other family members as well as a host of friends. 

Ramon was preceded in death by his grandparents, Salvador and Eulela Lucero; one sister, Rosabelle Muniz; two uncles, Henry Lucero and Charles Sandoval; and three aunts, Anastacia Trujillo, Ofelia Baca, and Stella Sandoval.
