Honkers Welcome Newest Ed Jones Financial Advisor

Members of the Lamar Chamber Honkers visited Theron Hammer, financial advisor with Ed Jones at his office at 800 South Main Street in Lamar.  Hammer will replace Bob Jarvis who is retiring.  “It is a gradual transition as Bob still comes in to the office to stay up to date on affairs,” explained Hammer.  He moved to Lamar this past November and has had an extensive career with the Air Force and as a former salesman for medical equipment while he lived in Arkansas.

“The company asked me how I felt about living in a small community, as I had thought I’d be working in Pueblo, but this has been a nice change and I really enjoy the town,” he added.  He said his financial investment philosophy closely parallels Bob Jarvis’s, so he’s pretty familiar with the direction that’s been taken with his clientele.
