Can you remember the first book you ever owned? Wish you still had it? Several youngsters were treated to a free book this past Friday during Story Hour at the Lamar Library.
- Sharing a Cuddle with Mom
- Better than TV!
- Two Seconds from A Smile
- Katelyn Wilhoit Turns A Page for Story Hour
- He’s Found a Comfy Spot
- Paying Attention to the Dinosaurs
There weren’t a lot of youngsters in the children’s corner of the library, but it’s not always easy for a mom or dad to get time off from work at 10am to take their son or daughter to the library for a little while. Those children who attended got a learn a little about how sick dinosaurs get better, as Katelyn Wilhoit read the booklet and turned the pages, allowing the youngsters a chance to interact with a book and a person instead of a video screen or tv.
The library schedules reading periods through the year, and there was a bonus this time as each four year old got to keep the book of the morning, “How Do Dinosaurs Get Well Soon”.
