Two Arrested in Lamar Drug Bust

On Monday, 3/30/2015, at approximately 5:00 PM, officers from the Lamar Police Department executed a search warrant at 224 Sage Dr. Officers have been conducting an investigation of the residence since December of 2014. During the investigation officers have received numerous tips from the community concerning the sales of illegal narcotics from the residence. Officers seized multiple items of paraphernalia which included scales and other packaging items which are used in the sale and transport of illegal narcotics.
Officers arrested Jade Deen (24) and Michael McCoy (26), both contacted inside of the residence when officers arrived, on active warrants. Deen and McCoy were transported to the Prowers County Jail.
Gayla Deen (45) currently has an active warrant for her arrest for distribution of a schedule II controlled substance.
