James Miller…January 31, 1930 – March 9, 2015

A Memorial Mass for lifelong Las Animas area resident, James Miller was held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Las Animas, Colorado with Father William Gleason officiating.  Rosary was held at 9:30 a.m.

James Miller, affectionately known as “Jim”, was born on January 31, 1930 and passed away on March 9, 2015.  He was a self-employed farmer, rancher, and contractor.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Katherine May; daughters-in –law, Gail and Julie; brothers; sisters; sisters-in-law; and brothers-in-law.

James is survived by his wife, JoAnne (Martin) Miller; brother, William Miller and wife, Bonnie; children, James Erle, Joseph Alexander, Karen Jeanene, Robert Jeffrey, Jack Kent, and Jason Allen; as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and in-laws; and a host of friends.
