Memorial Mass for Las Animas, Colorado resident, Larry Swisher-Arguello will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 16, 2015 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Las Animas, Colorado with Father Raymond Grimes officiating. Rosary will be held at 9:30 a.m. also at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
Larry Ray Swisher-Arguello was born on September 27, 1953 in Las Animas, Colorado to Patricia (Arguello) Swisher. He passed away on January 11, 2015 at his home in Las Animas at the age of 61.
Larry was united in marriage to Theresa “Terry” Duran on July 2, 1972 in Las Animas, Colorado. To this union they were blessed with their daughter, Patricia.
Larry was baptized at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. He enjoyed playing baseball and was proud to be a part of the Las Animas community. Larry loved his family. He was determined to keep in touch with all of them and did so by calling them.
He is survived by his wife, Terry of the home; daughter, Patricia Guerrero and husband, James; grandchildren, Unnique and Aaliyah Guerrero; siblings, Charles Swisher all of Las Animas; sister, Judy of San Antonio, TX, Edward Arguello and wife, Judy of Denver, Robert Arguello and wife, Gloria of La Junta, CO, Anna Mae Garcia of California; sisters-in-law, Lucy Arguello of La Junta, CO and Toni Arguello of Lamar, CO; many other relatives and a host of friends.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Raymond, Frank, and Richard; and sister, Mary Ann Trujillo.
