Board and Committee Openings in Prowers County

The Prowers County Commissioners are accepting letters of interest to fill several seats currently open to qualified candidates for various boards and committees.

Lamar Partnership Incorporated has two positions on the board of directors.  Letters of interest should be received by 5pm on February 12, 2015.  The terms for the positions will expire in 2016 and 2017.

Letters are being accepted from Prowers County residents to fill five positions on the Prowers County Fair Board whose terms will expire in February 2015.  This is a three year commitment and monthly meetings are held the fourth Thursday of each month.  Letters should be received by 5pm on Tuesday, February 10.

Letters are being accepted from Prowers County residents to fill a position on the Prowers County Planning Commission with a term expiring in January 2018.  Meetings are held at 8am the first Tuesday of each month.  Letters should be received by 5pm on Wednesday, February 11.

There are two vacancies to be filled by Prowers County residents on the Southeast Colorado Regional EMS and Trauma Advisory Council.  Meetings are held on a quarterly basis, although additional meetings may be scheduled.  The board is responsible for creating and directing regional goals and objectives for the betterment of emergency medical and trauma care within the six county region of southeast Colorado.  The deadline for an entry is 5pm, Wednesday, February 11.
