Betty D. Randle…February 26, 1924 – December 30, 2014

Graveside services for longtime Holly, Colorado resident, Betty Randle will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Fairmount Cemetery in Lamar, Colorado.  Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 2, 2015 and 8:30 a.m-10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Valley Memorial Funeral Chapel in Holly, Colorado.

Betty Davis (Casteel) Randle was born February 26, 1924 in Granada, Colorado to Robert and Lois (Davis) Casteel.  She passed away on December 30, 2014 in Dodge City, Kansas at the age of 90.

On March 9, 1947 Betty was united in marriage to W.O. “Will” Randle in Wichita, Kansas.  For the next 36 years, they made their home in Hartman.  Betty took great pride in being a homemaker.  In 1973, while also taking care of everyday tasks at home, Betty and Will began their bookkeeping business and operating Randle Seeds.  She also managed the Holly Housing Authority.  Betty was a member of the United Methodist Church of Holly, VFW Auxiliary, lifetime member of the Lamar Elks, and was very active in the Hartman and Holly communities. She was also an active member of the Holly Commercial Club and for many years prepared the meals.

Betty is survived by her children, Steve Randle and wife, Phyllis of Dodge City, KS, Terri Martorano and husband, Bernard of Henderson, NV, and Patti Noble and husband, Don of Lubbock, TX; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; many other relatives and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, W.O. “Will” Randle in 1995; sisters, Nancy Nichols, Ileta Collins and Margaret Casteel.
