Laureate Rho Helps Fund Library Projects

There’s more to this small Christmas tree that meets the eye. Judy Turpin and Jean Lunt, members of the Laureate Rho sorority, recently made a presentation to the Lamar Library for the holidays. Librarian Debbie Reynolds received the tree which was decorated with money.
The Ornament is Made of Money!
Regular library patrons, Olaf and a relative of Bulllwinkle Moose, look over the shoulders of the ladies as they pose for a picture of the event. “We’ll use the donation to help fund the Family Reading Program,” explained Reynolds. Turpin said the sorority members decided to each donate $5 to the library program in lieu of exchanging holiday gifts.
