Lamar Police Make Heroin Bust

The Lamar Police Department conducted a traffic stop Tuesday, December 23, 2014, in the 500 block of North 6th Street. Kevin Ludwig, age 27 of Lamar, was observed driving a vehicle on the roadway with a suspended driver’s license.
During investigation on the traffic stop, officers located several items of contraband and controlled substances, including approximately 1.5 grams of heroin. Ludwig was arrested on two counts of possession of controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving under revocation.
He was held at the Prowers County Jail on a $4,000 bond.
