Graveside services for longtime Holly, Colorado resident, James G. Hutchison will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 7, 2014 at the Holly Cemetery in Holly Colorado with interment following.  Pastor Kathy Leathers will officiate.  Visitation will be Thursday, November 6, 2014 from 1-7 p.m. at Valley Memorial Funeral Chapel in Holly.

James George Hutchison, affectionately known as Jim, was born September 3, 1923 in Greensburg, KS to Edward B. and Beatrice K. (Matthews) Hutchison.  He passed away October 31, 2014 at his home in Holly at the age of 91.

Jim attended school in Greensburg, Kansas until his junior year of high school when he then enlisted in the Marine Corp.  Jim served in Marine Corp. 4th Division Company B as Tank Commander during WWII.  He was a member of the Holly Odd Fellows #144 and the Lamar VFW Post #3621.

Jim is survived by his children, Joseph Hutchison of Holly, Colorado, Kathryn Phillips and husband, John of Syracuse, Kansas, Dolletta Roberts and husband, James of Dayton, ID, Leroy Harmon and wife, Susan of Denver, Colorado, and John Harmon of Northglenn, Colorado; 16 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren and one on the way; 14 great great grandchildren; many other relatives and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ruby A. Hutchison; grandsons, Chad Roberts and Christopher Barr and wife, Jennifer; siblings, Albert Hutchison, Harry Hutchison and wife, Lola, Juanita Zimmerman, and Beatrice Hutchison.
