Harold Dudley Curry, affectionately called “Dud” by his family and friends, passed away on October 29, 2014 at his home in Colorado Springs with his family by his side. 

A Celebration of Dud’s life will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at the Lamar First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Rory Gillespie officiating. Interment will follow at Fairmount Cemetery. 

Visitation for Dud will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM at the Peacock Funeral Home. 

Mr. Curry was born on August 10, 1925 at Potter, Nebraska to Harold Richard and Margaret (Tompkins) Curry. He passed away at the age 89. 

Dud is survived by his wife Judy Curry of the family home in Colorado Springs and his children; Anne Benesche of California, Cameron (Gabrielle) Curry of Munich, Germany, Holly Lewis of Swink and Andy (Valerie) Curry of Colorado Springs. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Channing Curry, Sarah (Chad) Wiley, Tobin (Rachel) Stutler, Bethany Stutler, Thomas Curry and Emily Curry as well as many friends. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Lamar Area Hospice either direct or in care of the Peacock Funeral Home. 

Arrangements are under the direction of the Peacock Family.
