Zordel Replaces Trowbridge as County Undersheriff

Ron Trowbridge has resigned to take the position of Director with the Hotline County Connection effective October 20, 2014.

Sam Zordel

I have appointed Sam Zordel to the position of Undersheriff effective October 20, 2014.  Sam has been with the Prowers County Sheriff’s Office since September 21, 1996.  He started in the jail as a detention deputy, went to the police academy and became a patrol deputy.

I appointed Sam as a Senior Deputy to lead the patrol division and assist with administrative staff duties.  Sam will serve the public well in the position of Undersheriff for the remainder of my term as Sheriff.  Please call Sam at the Sheriff’s Office (336-8050) and congratulate him on his appointment.
